PERFORMANCE
A simple and revolutionary idea, generated by an engineer
with 18 years of experience in polyurethanes and skateboard
wheels.
A combination of worldwide skater's expertise, US and
European raw materials and brazilian creativity. It's UpTrucks,
Urethane Pro Trucks, a one-piece elastomeric truck, with
many advantages over its conventional predecessors invented
in the 30s.
It was developed through exhaustive field tests with hundreds
of skaters after 3 years of development and exhaustive tests

In
our Lab, we have developed a fatigue test machine that simulates
the movements that stresses the trucks while riding.
The machine frequency is 35 cycles/min. One cycle corresponds
to one turn to the left and another to the right, until the hanger
touches the anti wheel bite device. An average street skater
rides at an average frequency of 60 cycles/hour (considering
resting time), 6 hours or 360 cycles/day, 20 days or 7200 cycles
a month.
Uptrucks were submitted to more than 90,000 cycles without any
crack or tear, keeping the original stiffness. That’s a
lot of sessions! Wearing due to grindings, impacts and environmental
attack, influence the fatigue and the life expectancy.
The life expectancy of an Uptruck is at least the same offered
by conventional trucks.
